Options
Certification consists of 3 sections: classwork (bookwork, videos, quizes
and exams), poolwork, and certification dives. We are more than happy
to conduct all of the sections on site, but many of our divers (especially
out-of-towners) find it more convenient to finish most of the classwork
at home. For this reason, a CD-rom is available, which allows you to do
you bookwork and knowledge reviews, take quizzes, and then print out verification
that you have completed these parts of the course. Once you get to us,
we quickly review, and then get right into the pool. The only written
work left would be the final exam. There is no extra cost for this convenient
option.
If you prefer to do the classwork with an instructor, but live out of
town and don't have the time to do the classwork with us, you can still
do your ocean checkout dives with us through the PADI referral
program.
Where
we dive
With
Deep Blue Diving Services, you can finish your certification in a variety
of places. You can choose to do your certification dives in Jupiter,West
Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Pompano
Beach, the
Florida Keys or,
if you prefer, in one of Florida's many fresh water locations. Just let
us know where you want to dive!
Refferal
Certifications
We often run into people who would like to do their check-out dives with
us in Florida after they have already completed most or all of their classwork
through another dive shop. Some didn't have quite enough time to finish
before leaving on vacation, others plan from the begining to finish with
us, but want to get most of the work out of the way beforehand. We are
more than happy to accomodate referrals! Just have your instructor or
dive shop fill out the appropriate forms, and you're all set! (We will
be more than happy to provide you with the forms you need)
